GEARS IN HUMAN

GEARS IN HUMAN

All is well… the antidote of obsession

“Is there anything like gears in human?”

Of course there is. As efficiency of gears in a machine determines the efficiency of the machine itself, so does it, apply to the human body. The master gears in the human body are the brain and the mind. Both are peripherals, one cannot work without the other.  Mind is an abstract component while the brain is a physical component, better known as the source of all activity. Both are essential pieces of the body and are important for the proper functioning of the body. The Mind and Brain embodies; the ability to think, thoughts, intellect and intelligence, memory.

As the gears in a machine has its own problems that hinders the efficiency of the machine, so does the human body has. One of the hindrances it has is 'OVERTHINKING'. Thinking is good, once in a while, but overdoing it is the problem. It is not wrong to have an idea or opinion about something, but giving much more attention than it actually requires, leads to OCD; Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Once obsession sets in, it takes the better part of both the physical and psychological parts of life. In the physical part, it causes high blood pressure, ulcers, migraines while in the psychological part, causes depression, anxiety, panic, increased risk of substance abuse, hopelessness and isolation.

There are a lot of solutions to this issue. One of them is going to see a medical expert on the issue such as a psychologist and allowing them to do what they know best but, the quickest solution one could easily obtain which is as free as the air we breathe in is the adoption of the saying "all is well". This helps a lot as it is also recommended by a larger percentage of the 'psychological community'. As it is necessary to say it, it should also be believed in. Everything might not be alright today but will definitely be alright in the not too far-away tomorrow. A pressing issue is more or less like a cup of water being held onto. Carrying it at first does not seem like anything, but the more you hold onto it, the more you feel the weight and you start the feel the inconvenience. So does it applies to the pressing issues on your mind, the more you hold onto it, the more you feel the stress. Let it all go and all will be well.
